I applied for vacation in December just for shits and giggs.... well I got it granted!!!!!! Yay!!!! I'll be headed to Montreal December 3rd and will return to Halifax on the 12th. Hopefully Pappa will be there then too!!! How does that sound Nicole? Can't wait!!!

Greetings from rainy Montreal

What good timing. Jean-Louis cut, fertalized and seeded the backyard yesterday and we needed rain desperately to kick start all that stuff, get it growing. I had a painfully exhausting weekend. I really hope this will all end soon, but I keep saying that and nothing changes. Noé was just CRAZY last afternoon and evening and I had no patience for him. I got really mad at him and say him in the corner. The little bugger would sit there, look at me, I would turn my back, he would get up on his hands and feet, look at me, I would look at him, he would sit back down and start laughing histarically, I would yell at him, he would sit and look at me, then... (this repeated about 7-8 times). I decided, he didn't quite grasp the concept of being punished yet. What a turd. Speaking of which, I am officially off diaper duty. I make JL change all the diapers now, just can't handle it anymore - too nauseous.
Well, another week at work. I would say that I am looking forward to the weekend, but I'm not sure which is more exhausting!

Hey!! 

Mom, your post sure did sound like a good morning! I didn't wake up feeling as optimistic.  I am all moved into the new apartment and am just laying down for night two.  I guess it will be alright.  It's filthy from the last tenants and there aren't any dishes or furniture beside some tupperware and a stinky couch.  It will take some time before it feels good to be here.  I spent my hungover Sunday setting up my room and watching the game.  (Whoop Whoop!!)  Go Habs Go!  I also spent some time getting to know one of my roommates.  He seems pretty cool actually.  I think I won't have any troubles with him.  He gives therapy to kids with Autism and takes them to camps and stuff.  He skies all winter and just got back to Montreal from Big White.  He's from the Townships but he's Anglophone.  But he's very laid back and I think he will be easy to get along with.  The only "weird" thing is that he is a twin... hahaha!!  Anyways, I went grocery shopping for the first time for myself in a long time.  It made me feel really lonely.  I miss grocery shopping and making dinners with Troy.  It's not as fun by yourself.  I guess I feel really out there and alone, now that I've moved out from under Nicole's wing.  I've got no one to take care of me but ME now!  Not thrilled about that. I just gotta keep myself busy I guess.  Anyways, thanks for putting that money in my bank mom! That, with my first paycheck should help me get through the next couple of weeks of settling in here.  

Krista, I want to come to the cottage party!  I can't let mom out-do me!  I thought I had the best social life in this outfit, but I think Mom is taking the cake there.  Mertch, you forgot to name Mom and Dad in the blogg description.  Dad, the logical one and Mom, the party animal.  So Krista, let me know what I should do.  I would likely have to work till 5pm or so in the Friday, but I would want to get there Friday night.  Maybe I can try to get Friday off work too.  Either way, let me know what you think.

I have to say a million "thank-yous" to Nicole and JL for EVERYTHING they've done for me these last few months.  Pretty outstanding!  I don't even know what to say.  I had a great life out in the 'burbs.  I miss Noe already.  I think I will go out to the 'burbs next weekend for a second visit to IKEA.  Need some curtains...

Anyways, I really gotta go to sleep.  I have to get my productivity levels up tomorrow so that I can graduate from training and get my IWA certificate!  (Instant Web Access).  This job requires me to be on top of my game... can't be sleepy!

Sunday evening hangover...

Ahhh you're morning sounded so relaxing Momma!!! I really don't envy you having to takle the whole house. I'm stresseing about gutting out our wee apartment by June!!! I tell ya, I'm really starting to get sick of this whole moving fiasco. Speaking of which, how did your move go Danio? What's the sitch with your roommates? Nick and I have decided to reside in the cottage until we head to the Yukon in the Fall, then we'll reassess our situation. We've decided to head back to the Yukon fora second attempt, we're just not sure when. Perhaps next summer.
Mom, I support the Sham-wow cause through and through, like the slap chop, they too have changed my life. Hey Pa.. how's the Slap Chop worki9ng out fot you??

I really like the idea of having a big partay in October, we'll be there from the 5th to the 19th. I think we'll be in Haines for Thanksgiving weekend so keep that in mind.

I'm going to try to make it up to Montreal sometime in December.

Good Morning Prevost clan wherever you are this fine day. Dad is busy working on electrical stuff and waiting for the contractors to arrive. We'll see if they make it today. Had another busy week at work but what's new. My VP position is posted and closes on Monday. Several people have applied. It make take several people to replace me!!! :) I should be at home decluttering and cleaning but I just couldn't face it last night so I came out. Dad had supper ready (bison stew - yummy). I had a glass of wine, ate supper and fell into bed. I'm looking forward to not always being so tired. How about you Nicole?? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? So here's the schedule of party activities planned. We decided that a retirement party at the lake for me in June was totally unrealistic. So, Adele Lackowicz offered her house. As Danielle knows, it's a great place for a party. Sat. Jun 19th is the date. Also, YTG and YTA host a party for retirees. This is the official celebration on Jun 18th. Then, Noe's 2 year old birthday party is on the 20th!!! Party time for the Prevost's (including Nicole and Noe). We'll have a moving in party in the fall at some point, maybe when Michelle and Nick are here if things go my way. I'm going to a "sham wow" party at Gail's this afternoon as an endorsement advertiser. Can I use your names as endorsers as well.:) We are having supper with them as well, not sure about the hot tub as there are other guests. Copper is starting to whine for his walk across the road to the climbing tree. That's as far as he gets before he takes off on a 4 to 5 hour run. He's getting skinny again! I have to walk Mocha and Seiko as the Atkinson's took their boat down to Skagway. Hope the move goes well for you, Danielle, You too Nicole and JL!! I put your check in your account, Danielle. It might make you feel better after the horrible M Canadian's loss last night! I'm sure Nick isn't crying. As for Christmas, I will be there in Nov. (no JL, I'm not coming in Sept.!) and likely stay until New Years, unless I get booted out. Dad won't be there as long as we have two animals that need looking after. It was easy to find someone to move into our house in town to look after Betty, but not so easy out here. Hopefully my good friend Gail will take Copper dog once more. We'll have to figure it out.
