Well, the house was packed wall to wall with the family, friends and kids kids and more kids! Millie's Birthday was a hit! The food was excellent, complete with make your own sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit. (which I cleverly arranged into a rainbow)
Aaaaand I successfully bakes Mom's zuchini chocolate cake!
Millie wasn't her usual smiliey and goofy self, she's got 3 teeth all coming in at once, and a chest cold on top of it all, but we all made it out unscathed. (me mostly)

A Mill Cove Christmas
Well, despite the chaos of sickly children, horrid weather, travel woes, endless meal prep and
I've got to say, I truely did have a great Christmas. Being all together is becoming more difficult these days as Prevost girls sprout families of their own. So amidst all the mayhem, I made sure to take a step back and take it all in. Our family, all together under one roof. What an amazing gift. How lucky we are.
Nicole, I really did like having you and your kids here for one more week in my home. Millie was so entertained with all her fun cousins! She's so bored now, I'm not nearly as interesting. Mom, I may have prayed that your flight home was cancelled, so you can blame me for that ;)
I imagine everyone is settled back into their respective homes and routines. It took me a few days to recover from this holiday. Quite quiet and lonely after such a whirlwind.
Thank you Mom, Dad, Nicole, Krista and Danielle for being with me at my home this Christmas. Thank you for dragging along your partners and sick kiddies. It really meant a lot.
Love ya
