Got to sleep in today!

Peanut here. I am alive and well after spemding the weekend at a friend's off-the-grid lodge near Mattawa (way up north near North Bay, close to the Quebec border). The place is awesome. 3 cross country ski loops, 3 snowshoe trails and 2 "kicksled" trails. Imagine dogsledding withought the dogs, that's kicksled.
So I'm off of Facebook because they rejected me on account of my fake name. I submitted a more real sounding name, but they still havent opened up my account! Don't know if I'll ever get it back! I may just start over, but it sucks to lose all those pictures. Oh well.

it's a bloggin kinda morning

Noé is off to daycare after much negotiation, crying, hollering and yelling. Finally I just hauled him off. Baby had to cry it out for a bit while I got Noé dressed poor thing. About a second and a half after I put him in the kangaroo carrier he was fast asleep. He's still sleeping against my chest in the carrier. I have just enough room to pull up a chair and "work" on the computer. I have a bit of time before I am off to cardio traineau. urgh! it's cold outside this morning. But I gotta go. I will not be going to Michelle's wedding looking like this. I think I actually put on some belly weight over the holidays. But now it's the straight and narrow for me. I made sure to finish up all the cookies and chocolats so there wouldn't be any in the house for temptation! ;-)
Once Noé is out the door, my days are pretty relaxing. This baby sleeps alot. And when he's awake, he's generally pretty pleasant. Yesterday evening he fed, dozed, fed then fell asleep all with no fussing. Pretty nice! I'm not used to this!!
This afternoon, I may try to catch up with another mama. Tomorrow I will bring Mathis in to the boobfeeding clinic at the CLSC to weigh him. He'll be 2 months on the 14th! Then on Friday, Shannon and Marie-Noelle are coming out for lunch. I'm going to make Quiche Loraine and carrot soup (from Danielle's cookbook). Speaking of Danielle, I'm hoping she'll come out to the burbs this weekend. I need some extra hands to take care of kids. JL is going with his coworker to the car show in Montreal. What do you think Danielle? I got a nice clean basement suite waiting for you!

Welcome home Ma and Pa! I hope your visit was relaxing and you're feeling recharged and ready to work hard; Dad on the house and Momma on the sandwiches.
Nick and I are busy now with wedding details. I welcome suggestions!!!! As I delve deeper into the planning, I become increasingly overwhelmed with the logistics... all I wanted really was a big ol' BBQ, kegs and good folks.... even that seems difficult to pull off.

I hope you guys don't mind squeezing a whole lotta people onto the floor of the cottage we are getting for you... especially if the "extra" numbers that you've so generously added onto my invitation list decide to come.

Nick and I are now working on wedding invitations. We are taking a photo and printing the date, time and venue on the front. (Like Angie's if you remember)

Here are a couple of options so far. Because it's still summer in Nova Scotia, we are able to get a lot of great beach photo opps.
